Which card suits you?

Both credit cards charge no annual fee and give you free access to your credit score and report. The differences are most noticeable in the fee structure and the digital tools available. You may want to consider Zable if:

  • You want access to a higher starting credit limit. Zable offers starting limits of up to £4,000, compared to up to £1,500 with Aqua. The limit you're offered will depend on your individual circumstances.

  • You want to avoid overlimit fees. Aqua charges £12 if you go over your credit limit.

  • You spend abroad. Aqua charges 2.95% on every overseas purchase. Zable charges no foreign exchange fee on purchases abroad. Cash withdrawals may still carry a charge with either card, so paying by card in local currency is generally the better option.

  • You rent your home and want it recognised on your credit file. Zable's rent reporting feature records your rental payments and reports them to credit reference agencies, which may help demonstrate financial reliability over time. As with any credit-building tool, the benefit depends on making payments consistently and on time. Note: this feature is available independently of the Zable+ card.

  • You want to start spending before your physical card arrives. Most eligible customers can access their virtual Zable card in under 10 minutes from account opening.

What both cards have in common
